In The Press
Outside The Office
An avid triathlete and marathoner, Dr. Kessler competes in various races across the United States. When he’s not racing, he enjoys spending time in the Denver, CO community with his wife and business partner, Dr. Gina Kessler, and his four children, Abbey, Max, Sydney and Riley.
Gina Kessler, DDS
Dr. Gina Kessler is known as “the local orthodontist” serving Denver and surrounding communities. Every day, she brings her gentle manner, upbeat personality, and genuine interest in caring for others to her work.
As a mother of four, no one understands the emotional, physical and financial strains that orthodontia can put on family life better than Dr. Kessler. But she also sees the lifetime of value in having a spectacular smile, both in the way that it looks and in it's functionality.
Dr. Kessler's interest in dentistry developed after she spent three years in braces as a teen. Emerging with more than just straight and beautiful teeth, her new mouth inspired her to smile more often and feel happier. From there she took notice how her smiles were reciprocated and began to wonder how she could help others using orthodontic treatments.
Dr. Kessler is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. She served a one-year residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, and following that, she was accepted into the University of Michigan Masters Program in Orthodontics.
Over the years, Dr. Kessler has spoken on a variety of topics at different CDA, ADA and WDA events. Topics have included how to balance a career and family life as well as successfully juggling a business partnership with a spouse.
Along with her husband Brett, she has been a participant in a monthly interdisciplinary study group with other local dentists to discuss cases and support one another in recommendations for treatment.
In Our Colorado Community
As family-focused as Dr. Kessler is, it’s only natural that her community involvement directly relates to her three children. A Girl Scout until her sophomore year of high school, she still feels strongly that the organization provided her with the tools that make her who she is today.
With that inspiration in mind, she brought the Girl Scouts to her daughter Abbey’s school and has been a troop leader there for the past five years.
Dr. Kessler is also actively involved in the Parent Association of Logan School (PALS), where she has sat on numerous committees and helped raise money for the school’s various programs. Prior to that, she was on the parent committee at the preschool her children attended.
Outside The Office
Today, Kessler divides her time between the dental practice and her being a full-time mom to Abbey, Max, Sydney and Riley. In the precious few spare moments when she is not focused on her whole-health approach to orthodontics, she runs, works out and recently earned her black belt in Te Da Kuen Do.
