At Town Center Dentistry & Orthodontics, we want to help you create your best smile. For patients who would like a straighter smile without using traditional metal braces, Dr. Gina Kessler often recommends Invisalign clear braces.
How Do Invisalign Braces Work?
Have you had braces before and then stopped wearing your retainer? Have your teeth nearly shifted back to the way they looked before? Invisalign braces may be just what you need to discreetly get your straight teeth back!
They are also a great option if you have never worn braces, but have have mild to moderate crowding of your teeth.
Aligning your teeth makes them easier to clean, but it can also have a huge positive impact on your appearance. As an Invisalign provider, Dr. Kessler can help you straighten your teeth without having use traditional brackets and wires.
These clear braces make it easier for you to keep your smile clean and avoid dental problems like tooth decay and gum disease. The Invisalign system uses removable plastic trays that are easy to care for and comfortable to wear.
Are Invisalign Braces Right For Me?
When straightening your teeth, using traditional braces may seem like your best option. However, you may not like the look or feel of metal on your teeth. Invisalign has a similar teeth-straightening ability as standard metal braces, but are almost invisible.
If Dr. Kessler determines you’re a good candidate for Invisalign, clear aligners will be created to fit over your teeth in the same way that a mouthguard or teeth whitening tray would. Each set of of these clear braces are worn for about 2 weeks, then are swapped out for the next set.
Over time, Invisalign clear braces will move your teeth to a straighter, more aligned position within your mouth. In many of Town Center Dentistry & Orthodontics' cases, the Invisalign process takes a year or less to complete.
